6 Reasons Why We Can't Tell Others We Were Wrong

It improves the way you think: Accepting that you were wrong means that you have grown as a person and your character has become stronger.
You can learn a lot: Mistakes are necessary for us because they give us an important experience and help us to identify our strengths and weaknesses. Knowing our shortcomings can help us figure out how to correct them and move forward.
You build good relationships with others: this is a way of showing those around you that you can be compassionate, personable and that you can analyze your actions. You are also showing them that you are not perfect and that you need the support of others. And they like to give it!
It brings trust in your relationships: when others see that you are honest with yourself and others acknowledge your mistakes, they will trust you more. They might even admire you for wanting to admire you and want to learn from you.

Analyze yourself: To better understand your behavior, try to look inside yourself and find out the reason for your rejection. You can make a list of different questions like “Am I scared?” or “Do I feel weak?” and try to answer them honestly.
Ask Others to Help You: If you are having trouble figuring out the answer on your own, you can ask loved ones to help you analyze the situation. Sometimes others will notice your mistakes much better than you.
Don’t be afraid of criticism: work hard and control your emotions when someone gives you advice on how to improve. Constructive criticism helps us to grow and to recognize our “blind spots”.
Working with a therapist: If you feel that this problem is bothering you and others too much and you are having trouble solving it yourself, you can contact a psychologist. Professional help can be a good guide to understand you better and improve your life.
