How Has The Relationship Between King Charles and his sons William and Harry changed since he became King?

King Charles found that, as Prince of Wales, he had more freedom to express his views, the projects he supported, the charities he was interested in, and the way he could treat the people around him. As Prince of Wales, his relationship with his children was first that of a father and only later that of a prince. King Charles knows that those freedoms no longer exist now that he is a monarch.

Many things have changed, except perhaps his relationship with his wife, Queen Camilla, because it is the two of them together in this situation. The King can confide in Camilla and she will keep his thoughts private, while in return he can speak aloud his innermost thoughts. Compared to everyone else, King Charles has to be cautious, and this is where his innate personality comes into play because he is a cautious man.

When it comes to his children, the Prince of Wales has been able to make them a priority; he has been able to count on Queen Elizabeth to focus on the monarchy while chasing the prodigal son who never came home with a fatted calf (because Harry has never apologized or repented).

Now it is the new Prince of Wales who allies himself with his father as king. William understands the burden his father carries and I believe that after the Queen’s death, Prince William witnessed the change in Charles. He saw the enormous burden his father had to bear: the grief of losing his father and mother in the space of just seventeen months, while Charles carried on relentlessly.

William and King Charles are said to be closer than ever in their lives, and it is their common destiny that binds these two good, decent, kind, and honorable men together. Prince William wants to support his father and, as the number of working royals continues to dwindle, he and Catherine, Princess of Wales, have increased their commitment. They work for the King and the good of the monarchy and the King trusts them, according to all sources.

King Charles can no longer give way to his son across the Channel because his regency requires his full attention, and a parvenu who deliberately stirs up trouble and tells lies means that this situation must be addressed and put in order.

Harry and his father disagree. The king has told Harry and Meghan to “move on,” which means their book and any Netflix content they want to release. Meghan realized it was time to move on with the King’s blessing. She’s not the brightest, so she won’t understand what Harry felt: a challenge; Harry trembled a little (maybe a lot) when he realized that the new monarch would not respond to lies and hatred with forgiveness. Charles is not Elizabeth.

Harry’s publisher is very interested in making money from “his” memoir. They wanted to publish it this fall, but it won’t arrive until after Christmas. The movie is the sequel to the latest drama that played with the lives of royals in a fictional series called The Crown (Americans take the drivel in that series as gospel, at least most of them).

If the son across the Atlantic can get Americans to take his words as truth, he will be a happy man. As long as his and his sons’ titles are not undermined. King Charles intends to counter lies with truth, and there are many ways to get truths into the news and mainstream reporting.

The King is very close to Prince William. With Harry, the King does not have a close relationship and Harry’s royal future is at stake. It is said that the memoir will cost Harry dearly. I doubt that King Charles will talk to Harry any time soon. The relationship between father and son is quite cold. Their paths could part forever.
