Lady Louise’s Love Story: Why It’s Not a "Will & Kate 2.0"

Catherine, Princess of Wales, is more withdrawn than convivial, but she’s approachable and has learned to overcome her shyness. Being withdrawn does not mean she likes to be alone, but that is where she finds her energy. Backslappers get their energy from being with other people, while wallflowers need to be alone to recharge their batteries. Catherine is warm, and affable and makes others feel comfortable in her presence.

The Princess of Wales has a great sense of humor and laughs easily and often. Her sense of humor is one of the things that excites Prince William the most because she knows how to make him laugh and he makes her laugh with his dry humor. The two make a great couple.

Catherine comes from a strong, loving family and adores children. It is wonderful to see how much she enjoys her three children and loves meeting the children on walks and at charity events. Catherine’s natural interest in children fits perfectly with many of her charities, which strive to give all children the best possible start in life.

The Princess loves outdoor activities and has always excelled in sports. Catherine plays tennis well, runs, plays netball (like basketball), field hockey, and volleyball, and has learned to scuba dive. She has been trained in sailing and swimming and has taken up rowing. Catherine likes to keep busy and sport helps her feel better. In college, she also ran early in the morning and this was one of the ways she got to know William better. They would both start the day by playing sports.

Catherine has a circle of musketeers dating back to her academy days and remains veritably close to the Middleton family. Pippa and Carole are veritably close to the Princess of Wales.

Catherine was bullied at one of the schools she attended, so she changed schools during term time and happily found herself at a boarding school in Marlborough. Catherine learned to do what she wanted and to find people who appreciated her for who she was. When someone was not kind to her, she turned to those who were. I suspect that’s why her friendships predate her marriage to William. Once you’re a princess, it’s harder to make real friends, because so many people have ulterior motives.

I don’t know how Catherine finds time to recharge her batteries – playing the piano. Or cooking? Maybe watching a show and having a glass of wine in the evening? Speaking of evenings, Catherine is an early riser and always has been. She and Prince William are very happy together and she finds a way to lighten the mood when necessary.

The Princess of Wales is beautiful outside and out. She’s lucky and so is Prince William.
