Prince Harry Reportedly Asks Doria Ragland to Leave Montecito Mansion

As the Express reports, Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, has moved into the Sussexes’ mansion in Montecito and spends most of her time there instead of at home. Doria moved into the guest house on the grounds of the Californian mansion to help the couple get through the tough times and avoid the almost three-hour drive from their home in View Park Windsor Hills to Los Angeles.

The year 2023 proved difficult for Harry and Meghan, and Doria was a constant support. A source said that although Doria appeared fit in her late 70s, the long car journeys to see her daughter and grandchildren had become tiresome, taking almost three hours. So she decided to move into the guest house, where she now spends more time than she does at home.

Over the last 12 months, Meghan has relied more and more on her mother, in what has been a difficult year for her and Prince Harry. The couple has faced setbacks, including the loss of a lucrative 20 million dollar contract with Spotify, criticism from Spotify boss Bill Simmons, who labeled them “cheaters”, and the cancellation of their animated series Pearl by Netflix.

Doria was Meghan’s rock during this time and not only supported her emotionally but also helped her look after her grandchildren. Harry also appreciates her presence and makes the most of the moments when he wants to be alone. Doria spent the Christmas vacations with the Sussexes at their home in Montecito, continuing the close relationship she has built with Harry. This relationship has become a welcome distraction for Harry, who no longer has to worry about problems with his family in the UK.

Despite the growing tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family, Harry appreciates the warmth and kindness that Doria brings to the family, especially in contrast to her side of the family. The source stressed that it was important for the children to maintain a close relationship with their grandmother.

This information contradicts previous rumors that spoke of a strained relationship between Doria, Harry, and Meghan. The allegations included conflicts, insults, and even a physical altercation between Meghan and Doria, leading Meghan to kick her out of Montecito Manor. However, these recent reports paint a picture of a close and supportive family dynamic.
