When they do engagements, they are not just visiting for the show, they participate; they try everything out and they get their hands dirty. This is why their involvement is so genuine and loved: their sincere and very affectionate nature is the reason why people identify with them and love them so much.

In that, she would be very proud of where the Monarchy is heading today and of the way William and Catherine have revolutionized the institution. It simply does not get more normal than William and Catherine.
Gyles Brandreth an author who is a close friend to the Royal family once wrote in ‘Philip, The Final Portrait’: “I know [Prince Philip] liked the personal style of William and Catherine, because he told me so.”
