Lady Kitty Spencer has exclusively praised her cousin, Prince William after joining him at the Centrepoint Awards last Wednesday. Prince William has been the patron of Centrepoint since 2005.
It was significant because this was the first patronage he assumed at 23 years old and it was a role poignantly held by Diana, his mother until she passed in 1997.
Well, he is not the only one following in her footsteps with this charity. Lady Kitty herself has also been an Ambassador for Centrepoint for the last 8 years, something I never knew.
Talking to Hello Mag, Kitty said: “I am very proud of my nephew, Prince William, for all he has done and continues to do to support Centrepoint and the vital work it does for young homeless people.”
“His commitment to Centrepoint has been unwavering over the last few years and his efforts have had a significant impact in raising awareness and making a positive difference to those in need.”
“Seeing my cousin’s commitment firsthand inspires me deeply and reinforces the importance of our shared mission.”
I love how she reiterated “My cousin” twice. Indeed, Prince William commits to the long haul and always has a positive impact on his environment.
But what we love to see as well is the Royal family being quite simply a Family. The Queen was surrounded by a big royal family and the image of Family was at the crux of the Monarchy’s strong image.
Thus, It is great to see that the Future King is also supported by both sides of his maternal and Paternal family and I hope the future of the Monarchy will see that new generation more involved as well.
