On March 5th, 2021, Prince Philip was in the hospital in critical condition. The Royal Family knew his time might be short, and the palace informed Harry and Meghan of the gravity of the situation. However, not only did Harry neglect to visit his ailing grandfather, but they refused to adjust their plans. Meghan dismissed the request, stating, “What’s done is done,” and accused the palace of using Prince Philip’s health to silence her.

Fast forward to 2025, and now Meghan wants us to believe she is postponing her Netflix cooking show due to the California fires because she cares about those affected. This narrative might have been believable if we hadn’t already seen the disastrous launch of her cooking show. The truth lies in the numbers and public perception—she cannot afford another failure. Launching on the 15th would only result in another flop.

The California fires are being used as a convenient tragedy to mask the reality: the show needs major rework. The focus should be on reducing the sense of fear, providing genuine cooking lessons, and improving Meghan’s on-screen likability.
Between now and the eventual launch, she must deploy every PR strategy to salvage her image. Unfortunately, this will likely lead to more cringe-worthy moments and backlash. Yet, the cycle continues—hypocrisy always finds a way back to the surface.
Suddenly, “What is done is NOT done.” Now, she claims to care about the well-being of others. But where was this concern when her father suffered three strokes? Where was it when Prince Philip and the Queen passed away just 18 months apart?
The reality is clear: it’s not about the victims of the fires. It’s about salvaging a tarnished image and ensuring her Netflix contract remains intact. Meghan’s concern is as fleeting as public memory, hoping for a sudden wave of positive reviews to save her career.
