The Middleton had purchased a 3 bedroom £780,000, 2 story flat on Old Church Street in Chelsea, and Pippa and Catherine moved in to pursue their work in retail. This bachelorette flat became William and Catherine’s new love nest now 4 years into their relationship. If he wasn’t in training, William was staying with her at the Chelsea flat.
The neighbors say: “In the summer months they used to have barbecues on the beach. On one occasion, Kate, who volunteers for the scout organization, cooked burgers for the local scouts and helped them fish and eat crab.” “My eight-year-old brother-in-law went to a barbecue at Kate Middleton’s house,” tweeted one fan. “I’m almost crying with envy.”
Sometimes, the couple would drive around in a battered white Ford Transit van, wearing baseball caps and sunglasses to remain incognito; at other times William would speed along the country lanes, dressed in leathers and a helmet, on his red and white 180mph Ducati motorbike, Catherine occasionally riding pillion If they weren’t there, they were staying at the Middleton or inside Wiliam’s cottage on Balmoral estate called Tam-na-ghar to enjoy their privacy and romance.
Their final love nest before Marriage was in Wales when William was stationed in Wales in 2008, it was Catehrine’s turn to move in with him in the 4-bedroom Bodorgan estate farmhouse he had rented. This time, they had no roommates. It was just them officially living together as a couple of now 7 years in the eyes of the World, in domestic bliss By the time they finally married, William and Catherine had been together 8 years and spent most of that time living together with the blessings of both the Middleton and The Royal family.
Indeed, gratefully enough, when it came to W&C, the Queen nurtured their relationship and allowed them to make use of Tam-na-ghar to enjoy their privacy on her Balmoral estate. She knew they had been living together almost from the get-go, but what she cared about, was exactly what William cared about: A happy relationship and the success of a long-lasting Marriage because the Future of the Monarchy depended on the success of that marriage.
It took a whole village to give them their space and privacy but it paid off. Today, after 8 years of courtship 12 years of marriage, and 3 children later the couple is going stronger than ever with Catherine back in their love nest in Adelaide Cottage to recover from her surgery. And I wish her a very quiet and peaceful recovery surrounded by love and family.
