Royal correspondent Kinsey Schofield said: “At the Queen’s platinum jubilee, when Harry and Meghan were in this room looking out, Princess Beatrice overheard Meghan say to Harry: ‘Your mother spoke to me at yoga this morning and she’s very happy we’re here’.”
She continued: “Harry doesn’t think he’s done anything wrong. He’s under the illusion that he’s fighting for this woman who is the reincarnation of his dead mother. I don’t want to patronize him, but he doesn’t have a clear idea of the pain he’s caused. I don’t think he feels it, no. He feels justified by his actions. I would say that he wants to protect his wife and children.
There are things worth protecting and defending, but manipulation, narcissism, and the destruction of the family are not on my list. And I agree with Kinsey. Harry can sleep peacefully in his bed at night because he thinks he’s protecting his “family” so well. He’s deluded and doesn’t realize the damage he and his wife have done to their families, their friendships, and the institutional monarchy.
You can poke him with a stick, but he is incredibly sad. When they stood in this room during the platinum jubilee celebrations and looked out, they were both photographed silencing the younger members of the family. How ironic! These two are shouting their petty grievances to the world and it’s time they shut up.
