Angela Levin, a royal commentator, has commended Kate Middleton for her decision to change her mind regarding the birthday photograph of Prince Louis. To celebrate her youngest son’s sixth birthday, the future Queen shared an adorable image of the Prince on the Kensington Royal social media platforms. Initially, royal fans were worried when there was no sign of the photograph, deviating from the usual royal tradition. However, Kate eventually posted a new photograph in the afternoon, deviating from the tradition of providing it to the press under an embargo the day before.
During an interview with GBN America, Levin expressed her thoughts, stating, “He’s delightful, mischievous, fun, and a real sweetie. When the photograph didn’t arrive as expected, with the usual embargo for the papers, I became concerned. I wondered if his mother was unwell and unable to take the photograph. However, when it arrived the next day, I found it to be wonderful—a beautiful photograph of him smiling. You can see the difference between a five-year-old and a six-year-old. He looked more mature and I wanted to hug him, especially as he was missing a bottom tooth.”
She mentioned: “Their decision changed. Initially, they were not going to proceed with it, but then they decided they wanted to show gratitude to the public.
“We adore her children. It’s truly heartwarming that she changed her mind because I believe there would have been a lot of concern and negative rumors if she hadn’t. Therefore, it was a very positive change of heart, and she did it her way by taking the picture herself.
Best of luck to her.” Accompanying the adorable photo of the young prince lying in the grass, Kate penned: “Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! Thank you for all the kind wishes today.”

Kate sparked controversy last month when she admitted to sharing an edited photo of her family to celebrate Mother’s Day.
The image was removed from various photo agencies, prompting the Duchess to apologize for any “confusion” on social media.
Catherine stated: “Like many amateur photographers, I sometimes experiment with editing. “I would like to offer my apologies for any confusion caused by the family photo we shared yesterday.” She continued: “I hope all mothers celebrating had a wonderful Mother’s Day.”
A few weeks later, the Princess of Wales courageously disclosed her cancer diagnosis in a televised address and requested privacy so she and her family could process the news as she underwent “preventative chemotherapy.”
