Children who grow up in a toxic environment may constantly feel that they don’t measure up or are not good enough. Their parents may have always demanded too much of them and scolded them when they did not meet their expectations. They have developed low self-esteem and do not know how to take care of themselves. Therefore, the slightest mistake or failure may cause them to panic and have tantrums.
