Who do your kids look up to?

“Prince Harry is facing headwinds over his ridiculous and disgraceful decision to wear British medals to attend the US Army awards ceremony.”

My dear Americans, you are telling me there were no worthy American veterans in the US army, that you had to call upon a British prince to present an Award to US veterans, from the terrace of his mansion?!

In his speech, Harry said of his deployment in Afghanistan “I was there”. He is right to use this phrasing because Harry’s 10 years of service and 2 deployments, can be summed up in 3 words:
“He. was. there.” Outside of ‘being on location’, Harry has a bland Army record that anyone with common decency would show humility for; Not Harry.

Harry is all about “Stolen Valor”: He wants acclaim for a Quality of service he did not put in and Medals for a courage he never had.

Admiral Lord Alan West, head of the Ministry of Defense and former head of the Royal Navy, a highly decorated naval commander during the Cold War, said of Harry: “He’s not a living aviation legend.

It’s ridiculous to pretend he’s an aviation legend. The fact that they’re willing to choose someone like Prince Harry makes it all a bit absurd. He’s not a living legend. Many people deserve that label, but not Prince Harry. I think it’s extraordinary that they chose him.

A mighty dressing down because the Defence chief KNOWS just like the other Service members know, Harry’s hero image is pure Palace PR fabrication that is NOT supported by FACTS.

If we removed the deployments and I ask you to cite one military exploit Harry is known for, in 10 years of ‘service’, you cannot cite one. Because his military record is filled with basic “being there” service.

But here’s Harry in a suit and tie, relaxing on the terrace of his villa, which was awarded to him as a prince, with his ONLY participation medal, because he “was there” in Afghanistan; the other three medals he received for being “a senior royal”, just like any other royal.

My problem with Harry is simple: When you know that your bland military record can be summed up in the pathetic words “I was There”, then at least have the moral decency to let the Service members who SERVED, be recognized for their Service; by actual veterans who also SERVED, without nepotism doing the work for them.

Harry spat on his family, but of the four medals on his robes, only one belongs to the army for “participation in operations”, the other three must belong to royalty.

Harry, be humble. You’re not Prince Philip or a war hero. What you are even before your 40th birthday is a demanding child looking for attention because Prince William is going to be king and not you.

William has three children who look up to their father with pride because, despite being the heir apparent to the throne who could have had it all, William has worked hard and obtained a Master of Arts Hons 2:1 in his own right at university, making him the most highly educated royal in British history. He did not deploy but on Merit, His military record is filled with honorable service such as:

Co-piloting a C-17 Globemaster on a top-secret mission to Afghanistan to repatriate the body of Trooper Robert Pearson as a Blues and Royal;
Being a SAR who saved 149 lives in 156 missions, in the Royal Air Force;
Flying top secret mission for the royal navy to seize 900 kg of cocaine from a speedboat in a £40m drug seizure in the Atlantic, north-east of Barbados.
He is also the husband who attacked the media around the world to protect the privacy of the mother of his children while she was undergoing major abdominal surgery and a cancer diagnosis; he didn’t shame her like you did when Meg labeled her “suicidal.”

So no, William’s children have a father they look up to and are proud of. The question is: who do your kids look up to?
