
Some people are single because they prefer to be. they’re simply not curious about being during a serious relationship at this point in their life. Others are single thanks to the circumstances of their lives.
The point of this text isn’t to stereotype all single women or men or to place anyone during a box. However, for people, particularly those over 30, who are trying to find answers to the puzzling question “Why am I still single?
1) Low Self-Esteem
So many people I’ve spoken to possess expressed an equivalent sentiment. They believe they need a satisfying relationship quite anything, but they believe even more firmly that nobody worthwhile would have an interest in them. once we hear these “voices,” we engage in behaviors that push people away.
When we remain single, it’s not for the explanations that we’re telling ourselves. Our lack of confidence leaves us giving off signals of not being open, creating a catch 22 within the realm of dating. many of us even have trouble leaving the house when they’re down on themselves, including pursuing situations where they’re likely to satisfy potential partners. Some struggle to form eye contact or are reluctant to scan the space for who they could be interested in. once they are drawn to someone, they’ll fail to pursue their strongest attractions for lack of self-esteem.
