If you have spider veins or varicose veins, your doctor has likely advised you to exercise regularly. While exercise helps you maintain a healthy weight that can relieve symptoms of swollen veins, certain types of physical activity can be your worst enemy. For example, lifting weights prevents blood flow between the legs and the heart, causing the blood to clump and damage the veins. While varicose veins cannot be permanently cured without treatment, regular exercise can prevent this critical condition from progressing.
1. Bicycle kicks

- Lie on your back and raise your legs in the air to form a 90-degree angle.
- Slowly prop up your right leg and keep your left leg bent.
- Bring your right leg back to the starting position, move it, and repeat the process.

2. Legs

- Lie on your back
- Lift one leg at a time.
- Switch legs and repeat.
3. The calf raises

- Stand upright with your legs parallel.
- Slowly raise your toes and stretch your muscles.

4. Change

- Stand with your heels up and your toes forward.
- Stand on your toes.
- Slowly lower your back.
- Rock on your heels, toes on the floor.

5. Flex your toes

- Extend your toes as far as you can and take a step back.
- Repeat this rhythmically 20 times on each leg.

6. Attacks

- Make an oversized breakthrough together with your left foot.
- Bend your left knee and keep your back straight, eyes forward and arms at your sides.
- Hold this position for 10 seconds, then return to a standing position.
7. Lift your legs
If you’ve got a spider or varicose veins, doctors recommend restoring your legs to a heart level or higher if possible. It relieves swollen or sore legs and improves blood circulation to the remainder of the body.
- Lie on your back on the ground or your bed.
- Lift your legs within the air or lean them against the wall.
- Hold this position for a couple of minutes, then lower your legs to the ground.
