Yes. His mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, called Prince William a “wombat” after a trip to Australia when he was only two years old. Wombats are Australian marsupials that can be quite aggressive as adults, but Diana never mentioned why she gave her son this nickname.

Another surname for William was Basher, acquired at the age of four when he got into a fight with some classmates. Billy the Beater was another interpretation, as he was considered a holy terror at home and the academy. He told his nurse that he couldn’t tell her what to do because he’d disciplined her when he was king. Fortunately, this phase of Basher’s life ended when little William was six times old.

As a child, William was also known as Wills. The Princess of Wales was the only one to put Willy on it. He was Big Willy. 
As for Harry, he was the one who gave him the childhood nickname and I don’t believe his story. Harry says that when Prince William told Diana that he did not want to be king, Harry immediately replied, “I will be king! Harry says Diana called him GKH (Good King Harry) because she believed Harry was better suited to become the future monarch. Harry says Diana did not believe William would be a good king.
As I have written before, I do not believe this story. Until now I had never heard of or read it. This was after Spare was published and Harry, a drug addict, could not distinguish between reality and fantasy. Diana knew that William was the smart son, the one she would trust, that he was DDG (drop-dead gorgeous), and she always said he would make a good king. I never heard Diana say that Harry would have been a better king than William. Even Diana said Harry was as unintelligent as she was. And he is. More so than Diana. Much smarter.
I can’t think of any other nickname. William called Harry Harold? I’ve never heard that one either. Maybe Harry wasn’t likable enough to have a nice nickname, and I can say that he’s called a lot of things now, but they’re not nice or pleasant: liar, irascible, jealous of Prince William, lazy, mean, sex-obsessed, scoundrel, scoundrel, racist, family hater, liar, unkind, inconsiderate, cruel to animals, self-centered, and narcissistic. There is nothing nice to write about Harry. His wife calls him H.
The paraphrases are sweet, funny, and nostalgic. Prince William has a cheerful look, even if he is quite serious. Harry has received the protection of his family for his many faults. I suppose it’s hard to give a lazy, jealous son a friendly name.
