Is Prince Harry still friends with Prince Charles?

Not at all. Harry was not particularly close to King Charles after he remarried. Yes, he loved his father, but somehow Harry wouldn’t try to understand why Charles had decided to move on after Diana’s death. Prince William has always had a more understanding heart, and although he wasn’t thrilled about Camilla marrying his father, William was willing to give his father’s second marriage a chance.

It wasn’t easy at first, as Princess Diana had to rave about Queen Camilla and King Charles with Prince William, but she understood that they had loved each other for a long time and were discouraged from marrying. Now their father has a chance to marry the woman he loves, and while William sees Charles as happier, Harry is not ready to accept his father’s remarriage. Harry had a problem with Camilla replacing Diana as he saw it, even though Diana was eight years younger at the time.

Harry was closer to Prince William, Princess Catherine of Wales, Queen Elizabeth, and Prince Philip. He did not want to leave out the then Prince Charles, because it seems that Harry still chose to blame his father for the failure of their marriage. But Harry loved his father and they shared many beautiful moments. They were quite close and talked and laughed when they were together. Harry could even laugh with Camilla, but Harry tended to sulk and blurt things out.

All the progress he made to accept the couple of King Charles and Queen Camilla ended when he met and married Megs. A narcissist does not like to share, so she managed to manipulate the good relationship between Harry and Charles, causing conflict and friction. Look at how Harry effortlessly left all his family members behind. Not only King Charles, but also William, the late Queen, Prince Philip, Catherine, and so many others.

Harry became an angry and bitter person when he married Megs because she managed to bring out the worst in him. That meant thinking the worst of King Charles, even though Harry always wanted the money to flow, even though he had left duty and family behind. When King Charles turned off the money spigot, Harry was outraged. He felt he had a right to the money, even though he was approaching middle age and needed to stand on his own two feet, so Harry became meaner and crueler to Charles.

Now that Harry is acting like an asshole, trying to film his family at events for his reality show, also known as Netflix, and talking to Gayle King and Oprah about private things his family tells him, his relationship with King Charles has reached a new low. As hard as Charles and William try to put up with Harry’s hostility, petulance, lies, and deceit, there is a limit to how much abuse people can take before they change. Harry’s family crossed that line.

After the death of Queen Elizabeth, everything became clearer as the palace now operates under the King’s rule. While Harry felt comfortable lying about his father under the queen, he now cannot do so without many lies being considered treasonous. Harry thought he could stick to the old rules, but found that after his grandmother left, the whole family (including Eugenie) decided to show him how unreliable he was. They ignored him as much as possible, and when they had to speak, they did so dryly and laconically.

Now King Charles has a monarchy to administer. He has a wife to protect, a Queen Consort. Harry must not denigrate heads of state, even if he is their father. Harry risks losing much more than the relatively close relationship he had with his father. He risks losing his place in the monarchy and all his titles. Yes, even being a prince may be revoked. Both King Charles and Prince William are fed up with this scion who married a terrible person.

As much as the King loves Harry and what he was, he doesn’t love him at all. Who would love him? Harry deserves to be separated from his family after all he has said and done, and Harry will not go near Charles as long as he is married to the snake Megs. After the divorce, Harry has a good chance to talk to his father one day, years later. But if there is even something negative said about King Charles or Queen Camilla in this book or the reality show, Harry will not have a relationship with his father.

The ball is now in Netflix and the publisher’s court: will the bad parts not be deleted? Will the two companies allow Harry to delete everything bad he has said? Why should they? King Charles has been very clear. One wrong word and Harry and his crazy wife will never approach him or the royals again. It will cost Harry everything.

So, no. The King and Harry are not close. But they can still become estranged parents. The chess game is about to end and the crown always wins. Tell that to Oprah, too. She needs a reminder.
