Mehran Nasseri, The Terminal Man

The child is still growing up in quiet family shadows, receiving a basic education that continues full time; Until he became a young man and a university, and as a peer, she had an incomparable enthusiasm, an enthusiasm that continued to put him at the center of the events and the escalating protests against the Shah’s rule, but amid all this, specifically in 1967, he had unpleasant news.

His father died, and his life was shaken, as never before, but grief doubled in itself from a wider point of view, when his mother invited him to a private hearing, in which she told him that he was not her son, but rather a son of an illegal relationship between his father, the doctor and his Scottish nurse, who had long left for her country.

A heavy-caliber surprise confused Mehran and put him under great nervous and societal stress, but the River of Life continued to run, with his family nurturing him, supporting him, and sending him in 1973 to the University of Bradford, England, to study, but surprisingly, he chose to study an unrelated discipline, the Yugoslav economy.
