Of course, the then 20-year-old had great difficulties dealing with this specialty, and two years after his arrival in England to study, based on the school failure he had to lock back to Tehran, but when he arrived at his country’s airport he was waiting for a new shock but of a different kind.
Because of his protest activity in England and his multiple participation in demonstrations against the Shah, he was stopped at Tehran airport by Iran’s Savac or “Intelligence and National Security Organization”, and taken to Evin Prison where he was tortured for 4 months before being denied Iranian citizenship.
He is waving right and left to find himself in Europe residing in Belgium, after numerous attempts at infiltration and official asylum applications to many other European countries, notably England, to which he was eager to return in the hope of searching for his Scottish mother.
