Wearing stiletto heels to walk on a green lawn at a Polo game while trying to sell yourself as a ‘savvy polo wife’, is akin to wearing brown in town while attempting to sell yourself as an Aristocrat: you end up looking uncouth and utterly cartoonish; everything Meghan showcased this weekend.
One should not treat her failures so severely, perhaps; the poor woman shops all year long and gets invited nowhere at all. So of course, she would dress to the nines to attend the opening of an envelope; Polo for Meg must feel like finally getting the invite to the Met gala she will never get.
There is an African proverb that says, “The monkey does not leave a branch unless he has found a better branch to hold onto.” Meg and Harry never learned that lesson.
Here is a couple that likes to boast of being “humanitarian and world leaders”. However, every platform they are offered is used as an unnecessary vanity project that benefits no one, least of all their brand.
After losing the Spotify deal, they are left with Netflix. However, the first project was a six-hour vanity project in which they complained about the royal family. Today, the latest trends are a program about their social life and another about cooking and gardening.
So for all, Meghan jealously calls Catherine “a Stepford wife”, it is she who is proving she is nothing but a basic reality TV housewife.
How does a show about the aesthetics and social world of polo, an elitist sport, and gardening fit with the humanitarian and global leader image they want to sell? It doesn’t.
What it proves however is that the analogy of the branch and the monkey has become a self-fulfilling prophecy for H&M: they left a secure branch in the RF, thinking they were superstars and would find a better one; now they are free-falling, in an attempt to catch ANY branch to hang onto.

There is always a massive discrepancy between their words and their actions simply because when someone is a Liar, their actions ALWAYS bely their words. And H&M are professional liars.
Take Harry, sitting on a panel this week talking about “Africa’s in my heart, Africa’s in my soul”
His actions? “He was president of African Parks, an organization accused of funding a militia that brutally rapes and murders indigenous African Baka communities to take their land. Harry has done nothing to help. He continues to sit on the organization’s board of directors while the murders and rapes continue.”
Harry has a very colonial love for Africa.
- Meghan, for her part, likes to portray herself as an advocate for women’s rights.
Her actions? “She led a poorly orchestrated campaign to intimidate the Princess of Wales for the past six years, simply out of angry jealousy after being outed as a bully to RF employees and then lying to and intimidating her own more educated sister in a book.”
If Her appalling treatment of Women was not clear enough, one just needs to look at how she humiliated the black Director of Sentabale this weekend, in a now-viral video. Women are the first victims of this women’s rights activist.
And then they wonder why no prestigious brand wants to be associated with them. H&M may want to appear as royalty, a humanitarian, and a global leader. But it has blatantly shown the world that it lacks the intelligence to make others and charities shine. H&M does nothing but use others and charities to make itself stand out. All the charities that H&M runs, be it Invictus, Sentabale, or African Parks, have become a circus of self-promotion.
In contrast, Wales focuses on a small number of projects, but the quality and execution are smooth and solid: when they announce a project, it has the support of governments, large companies, official organizations, and local leaders. Each project produces results for others that benefit society as a whole, not their own pockets.
This is the difference between royalty and celebrity wannabes.
