Time for Charles to act…

Can there be smoke without fire? There is talk of meetings with palace lawyers to finalize divorce settlements, numerous phone conversations with Nicholas Soames (Charles’ right-hand man) to plan Harry’s return to the family, and Harry contacting former friends to clarify the situation. Recall that these are former friends whom Meghan Markle prevented from meeting with him.

Harry is a lost soul. The Press has reported his visits to the private members’ club called the San Vicente Bungalows, in Los Angeles, where he stays, and where he can make phone calls to the UK without being ‘overheard’. It is being suggested, that it’s his ‘escape suite’ where he needs to go for a few days to get away from his toxic and manipulative wife in Montecito.

He knows he’s become dependent on her. Of course, he’s desperately unhappy, he’s paranoid, and while festering alone in his ‘escape suite’ he will be blaming the controlling mad woman who conned him all the way.

And this is what his old UK friends will be telling him. These are the only true friends he now has. It would be near the truth to say Harry spends more time talking on the phone to his mates than he spends talking to his wife at their Montecito home. These friends are refreshing for Harry because they tell him what he wants to hear, and what he knows he must hear.

He’s aware he’s been suckered into this marriage. He knows his wife is full of bitterness and resentment in her desire to eclipse, not only the Royal Family, but everyone else she meets. But more than anything, he knows the world is laughing at him because the devious architect of his downfall has publicly ridiculed him. No wonder he is depressed with his life.

Make no mistake, Harry will have been told by the royals, and his old friends, that Markle will destroy him before moving on to her next victim. They will have been brutally frank with him. Actually, during his calls across the pond, he doesn’t need to hear about the glorious weather in the UK, or about the upcoming popular racing weekend at Ascot in July. Harry wants confirmation that he is making the right decision, about (as one royal observer so eloquently put it) – his crumbling relationship with his dreadful wife.

Harry is fragile. He is not mentally strong. He cannot cope. He needs help.

His main problem, and there are many of them, is that he did whatever Markle told him to do, and he now realizes he’s alone and in a mess.

Harry once, stupidly told us, “My son is a year old. He’s amazing. He’s already putting three, four, five words together, and he’s singing the most amazing songs.” There’s no doubt that the actress told Harry to say this. But, stupidly, the not-so-bright one didn’t stop there. Markle convinced him that the gullible public would swallow anything they said. And many people did. It was a game to her – Openly telling the most outrageous lies, then sitting back, giggling like a 12-year-old child, watching as everybody believed her.

Unfortunately for hapless Harry, people are now wise to her scams. The baby bump that massively expanded and then decreased the same day, telling us the Queen rolled about, playing on the carpet with Archie just two weeks before she died, Archie’s bedroom becoming an inferno in Africa, the New York high-speed chase that embarrassed the NYPD. The list is endless.

But Harry’s big problem is also the King’s problem. How will the Palace announce to the world, when they divorce, that there are no children, and there never were. Charles knows that the first question he’ll be asked is, “Why did you allow two children to be included in the Line of Succession when no Royals have ever met them, and now you are telling us they never even existed?”
