Though I agree Diana would have supported Harry’s move to the US. She would have never allowed Harry to exit the way he did.
I seriously doubt Harry would have married Megsy. Harry did not want to marry her….then. But she hoodwinked Harry with the old trick, bun in the oven.
First off, it wouldn’t have taken Diana long to see through Megsy. Diana would’ve had enough influence over Harry to at least delay marrying Megsy. Narcissists don’t like to wait long, like getting married. They need to lock in their victim quickly because they can’t keep up their charade for long before their MASK starts to slip. Hence, her big fat lie about being pregnant. Then, once married, she miscarried.
Diana would’ve smelled a rat. Megsy played all the ‘Diana’ moves, her perfume, and clothes styles even before they met during her faux humanitarian trips to South Africa. She calculated every photo op to connect it to Diana to trigger Harry into thinking she’s ‘just like my mum’. As he told the Soencers but they said no. Only he saw what Megsy brainwashed him into believing. She studied her mannerisms, reactions, and body, including eye movements.
Megsy would not have waited another year. She especially would not want Diana’s influence over Harry. That adoration for Diana would’ve dissipated quickly because she would not be in control.
Megsy knew all of Harry’s vulnerabilities & weaknesses. She studied him for a long time.

If Megsy was not in the picture, I don’t believe Harry would’ve turned on and against his father, brother, or Catherine. They were very close despite rifts and jealousy that are not unlike a lot of families around the world. Royal or not.
Charles and William would also have supported Harry moving away. But it was understanding that he was the Spare. He does have a role within the institution that is very relevant. Contrary to Megsy’s demeaning and belittling the ‘Spare’ role.
Diana herself said she told Harry when William takes the throne, Harry would have a very prominent position as William’s trusted confidant and his advisor. She said she always foresaw them working for the Monarchy and the people together. So when the time came, Harry would come back. Or arrangements then would be designed to accommodate Harry and his family. By then, he would’ve hopefully found a loving kind fun supportive wife. Not a sociopath!!
Just as Princess Madeleine the youngest daughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, had moved to here in Florida in 2018. But she and her family are moving back to her home country. In March 2023, the Swedish royal family announced the return of Madeleine, Christopher, and their children.
Princess Madeline did it the correct way. They were given the King’s approval with the understanding that she would help fulfill roles as needed to represent him and the There were no. Now they are moving this summer back to Sweden indefinitely.
Harry could have done this if he had not pulled a Megxit on them with no notice. There were no in-depth discussions with the Queen long before they abruptly left. And did not have all the defining drama against the RF and Monarchy. If not, then under the QEII, then possibly later during Charles’ reign.
Diana would never have allowed Harry and Megsy to rain of terror. That’s where he truly did not know his mother. Regardless of the drama with Charles, Diana was a Royalist, a Monarchist. She loved the Queen.
