Reports in 2019 revealed that Harry planned to share a house and staff with his brother, Prince William, to make things easier for their respective growing families. Before Prince Archie’s birth, royal correspondent Omid Scobie admitted that Kensington Palace staff had confirmed that “these plans existed long before Meghan’s arrival”.
He said,” Kensington Palace staff told me that they knew, long before Meghan arrived, that when she got wedded and stopped being the third wheel, she’d leave and live her own life with her mate and they would live within their own family with their platoon.”

In 2022, journalist and friend of the Sussexes, Bryony Gordon, told the Telegraph that Harry “wanted out of the nonsensical royal cult since he was a child”, but only managed to leave it after meeting Meghan Markle, because she was the “catalyst”.
